Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Full payroll function
- Application for Tax Directives
- Completing Statutory returns and handling of statutory payments
- Completing of IRP 501 recons and year-end on Easyfile
- Dealing with staff queries
- Garnishees & maintenance Orders
- Handling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral funds
- Responsible for capturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotions
- Reconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third- party payments
- Importing data
- Checking payroll variances
- Preparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-end
- Filing & Scanning
Education Requirements:- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in accounting or payroll preferred
Job Requirements and Skills:- 4 to 5 years' experience in a Senior Payroll Administrator position essential
- Sage 300 People working knowledge ESSENTIAL
- Strong understanding of statutory payments and returns
- Payroll accounting and reporting to finance experience essential
- Proficient in MS packages
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
