Payroll Administrator - Polokwane
Responsibilities:
Process and manage payroll for employees using the VIP Payroll System
Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, and other payroll-related expenses
Prepare and distribute pay checks to employees on time
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and ensure data integrity
Handle payroll queries and resolve any issues or discrepancies
Ensure compliance with payroll laws, regulations, and company policies
Generate payroll reports as required by management
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information
Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation and best practices
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, preferably with VIP Payroll System experience
In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labour laws
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred)
Certification in payroll administration is a plus
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
