There are 32 farms supplying the Sangiro Poultry Processing Plant. Sangiro is one of the largest producers of fresh chicken in South-Africa. Include but not limited to: Provide efficient first point contact for managers and employees regarding payroll queries or questions; Provide appropriate first point contact for external entities requiring confirmations; Audit of all processed attendance data including timesheets and leave forms on all computerized systems ensuring accuracy; Review, referral and follow-up on any attendance and leave queries raised by the data capturers; Process all staff going on maternity leave and staff returning from maternity leave; Take on processing of new appointments, transfers and terminations; Assist with monthly pre-payroll audit; Month-end process and payroll reporting; Updating of employee details on Sage People 300; Assist with monthly distribution of payslips and preparation of related payments; Assist with all ad hoc data processing and data capturing related to payroll; Filing; MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Gr 12 or equivalent Sage People 300 qualification or 3 - 5 years' experience Intermediate Excel Skills PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of 3 – 5 years' experience in Payroll Administration Payroll processing for a group of companies (more than 150 employees) Data Capturing Administration Month End Processes including statutory submissions such as UIF and EMP's Application of legislation SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Knowledge of the BCEA and other Payroll related legislation High level of accuracy and attention to detail Must be able to work under pressure Must be able to work independently Remuneration will be discussed during the informal telephonic interview.
