Payroll Specialist - Durban

Join my client's team as a Payroll Specialist. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about payroll and HR administration, my client wants you.

This role is based in Durban North.

Responsibilities:
Salary Payroll:
  • Manage monthly salary adjustments, including new hires, terminations, benefits, and deductions.
  • Reconcile third-party payments and compile payment schedules.
  • Maintain Provident Fund history and produce monthly payroll reports.
  • Handle payroll reconciliation queries and complete necessary forms.
Wages Payroll:
  • Maintain employee data and process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls.
  • Record additional earnings and deductions accurately.
  • Ensure timely payroll processing and release.
  • Produce necessary reports and payslips and address payroll queries promptly.
Payroll & HR: Salary/Wage
  • Prepare and reconcile tax and compliance forms.
  • Assist with various reporting requirements and HR-related queries.
General:
  • Support accurate payroll processing and compliance.
  • Maintain employee records and generate payroll reports.
  • Communicate effectively with employees and collaborate with team members.
  • Address payroll discrepancies and assist with system upgrades.

Qualifications and Experience needed:

  • BCom or relevant payroll qualification
  • 5 years of payroll experience.
