Our ICT client based in Fourways is looking to employ a Finance Manager in their Managed Services department. Job Title: Finance Manager – Telecoms/ICT Location: Fourways Job Summary: Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial performance of Managed Services by ensuring a well-maintained financial control environment. Partner with the business by effectively leading and managing the financial function for the Managed Service Business. Manage, co-ordinate and implement the finance function’s strategic goals, objectives and operations. Ensure that all finance systems and processes are adequately designed to ensure an appropriate control environment and to address all internal audit findings either through specific or process level remedial action. Execute and delivery financial statements Assist and or drive tasks to improve in business efficiencies and cost saving on business synergies Assist in the implementation of systems and processes to support the business. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis on the cost and profitability of certain networks / products. Desired Experience & Qualification: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Qualified CA (or equivalent) Member of a reputable Chartered Accountant body Minimum 10 years’ post articles experience in similar company. Preferably in Telecoms in an operational / projects / consulting role. IFRS Technical knowledge and application. Accounting knowledge and application taking commercial, risk and technical aspects into account Ability to review and interpret financial results, foresee potential problem areas, provide reasons for deviation from plan and corrective action plans to line managers. Internal and External Audit process plus the ability to remedy internal controls weaknesses reported by auditors. Project management skills.
