Develop and implement features, procedures, and protocols to ensure the accurate and reliable performance of solar systems. • Manage and maintain the proper functioning and optimisation tools, ensuring their availability and accuracy. • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product specifications, requirements, and performance criteria to develop effective deployment. • Conduct routine and non-routine tests on solar products to verify their functionality, performance, and adherence to quality standards. • Analyse and interpret test data, identify anomalies, and report findings to team members for further investigation and corrective actions. • Train and develop the Installation and Aftermarket teams in proper techniques, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent and accurate test results. • Collaborate with the Product and Installation teams to establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures for site testing and commissioning activities to ensure Solar system performance is up-to-date. • Document and maintain accurate records of test results, procedures, and equipment maintenance activities. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in testing methodologies is a plus. • Proven experience in performance testing, preferably within the solar industry or a related field. • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, quality control processes, and industry standards. • Experience in managing testing equipment, including calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Familiarity with electrical and electronic components, circuits, and systems. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse test data, identify issues, and propose solutions. • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in performing tests and documenting results. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Ability to train and mentor the production team in testing procedures and best practices. • Knowledge of South African regulations and standards pertaining to production testing and quality control. • Familiarity with solar energy systems and related testing requirements is a plus R50 000
