Our client, in the marine industry, is seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced Project Planner in the engineering industry. Maintain consolidated Project Master Schedule of all current projects. Ensure Clear links between project Schedules, Design Schedule and Production Schedules Produce monthly reports on personnel loadings. Responsible for project planning meetings. Capture on time delivery data for performance purposes. Design work schedules from design information. Work closely with project manager and responsible engineers and import work schedules into ERP system. Capture design updates in weekly design meets. Report on necessary changes to planning and priorities and ensure delivery will still be on time. Work closely with mechanical and design engineers to ensure work is allocated optimally between project staff. Communicate weekly design schedule updates to different project managers. Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Produce weekly engineering resource capacity overview and forecast resource view reports. An appropriate engineering qualification. A minimum of 5 years' experience in proven engineering experience in a similar position. Must have experience in a multi-project planning environment. Above average command in the full MS Office package, Project Management Software packages and experienced in using ERP software. Experience in waterfall and agile planning environments. Must be able to work and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills with both junior workers as well as executives. The ability to maintain and improve processes. Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. Market related
