Job Title: Plant Manager Location: Cape Town Summary: RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Manager to join our clients team. As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the plant and ensuring its efficient and effective functioning. You will work closely with a team of professionals to drive productivity, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities: Develop and oversee plant operational strategies to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency Manage and optimize all plant operations and processes Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and staff members to achieve plant goals Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication within the plant Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to reduce production costs while maintaining quality standards Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management or similar role Strong leadership and communication skills Proven track record of driving operational improvements and efficiencies Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions based on findings Experience managing a team and fostering a positive work culture Benefits: Salary: Market related Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Training and Development RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
