My client is seeking a talented Pricing Analyst to join their dynamic team and take charge of pricing strategies that drive our success.This role is based in Edenvale, Johannesburg East.Key Responsibilities:Pricing Management: Craft and manage contracts and price lists for their valued customers. Conduct quarterly reviews and updates of customer price lists in collaboration with the management team. Distribute quarterly price lists to customers and provide pricing review letters. Lead pricing discussions during Must-Win tender processes and ensure optimal margin management. Collaborative Strategy: Define pricing principles in close collaboration with Sales Manager, General Manager, and Finance Controller. Work hand-in-hand with the management team to optimize sales margins and safeguard profits across product-customer groups. Quoting Expertise: Maintain price lists for standard products and raw materials. Handle quoting for standard and custom-manufactured products, as well as raw material sales. Ensure accurate pricing by maintaining Excel price lists where necessary. ERP System Management: Maintain correct prices and relevant data in their ERP system, ensuring timely updates for customers. Oversee the Harmonised Pricing Model and periodic margin reviews within the ERP system. Administer pricing data entry and ensure accuracy, including raw material price lists and customer ABC ranking. Reporting and Analysis: Generate sales margin reports and conduct investigations into loss-making products. Analyze industry standards, competitor pricing strategies, and feed price movements to inform pricing decisions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in pricing analysis or related roles. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
