Process Supervisor / Manager - Ekurhuleni
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 10 Years Plastic Manufacturing experience in Processing Capacity
- Minimum 10 Years experience in Plastic Injection Machine Setting role.
- Tertiary qualification compulsory
- Strong mathematical / statistical bias
- Excellent communicator to all levels of an organization
- Well disciplined, structured thinker, with exceptional work ethic
- Organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Drive employees results in the facility by instilling continuous improvement and excellence in operating and usage/setting of equipment and housekeeping practices
- Oversee that appropriate processes are utilized to ensure high productivity
- Identify / perform preventative maintenance tasks and maintenance tasks
- Lead the creation and implementation of technical improvements, machine optimization and maintenance systems for the manufacturing process
- Suggest and assist in implement cost-saving and continual improvement ideas
- Working with managers effectively to execute the policies and goals of the company
- Troubleshoot moulding issues by evaluating the moulded parts, machine, support equipment, and/or raw materials in order to determine problems and optimize process
- Mentoring employees where and when necessary
- To liaise with toolroom on requirements needed on moulds or machines
