Procurement Assistant - Johannesburg

REQUIREMENTS
  • Matric, tertiary qualification - Advantageous
  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Communication
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Customs and Exercise
  • Excel skills working understanding
  • Working experience on Sage X3 or similar ERP system
  • Strong communication skills
  • Assertiveness
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Analytical skills

DUTIES
  • Reporting to the Senior Procurement Officer
  • Place orders with suppliers, follow up on orders, and create the relevant Good Receipt Notes upon receipt
  • Assist with the monthly ordering of stationary
  • Assist in the monthly ordering of groceries
  • Assist in the continuous ordering of warehouse consumables
  • Handle Ad-Hoc requirements as needed
  • Asist with the coordination and arranging all maintenance requirements
  • Handle the processing of zero invoices and replacement invoices
  • Assist on the switchboard when requested
  • Opening of indent files
  • Assist with the up-to date sorting of the archives
  • Place orders accurately and efficiently
  • Capturing of all overseas invoices and shipping invoices
  • Arranging payments with the relevant financial institution
  • Continuously monitor shipment statuses daily

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience with company benefits.
