Our client is seeking a technically-minded sales person for their product & team, to be based in Port Elizabeth. Requirements: Grade 12 4-6 years relevant sales experience Advanced PC literacy Good command of the English & Afrikaans languages, a 3rd language will be an advantage (e.g. Xhosa) Hunter sales profile Self starting individual "Go-getter" About: build a network of contacts and relationships Ability to demonstrate specialist knowledge and expertise Communicate clearly and precisely and in a structured way Can present effectively Use a methodical and systematic approach by planning with clear priorities to allocate resources effectively Co-operates well with others and shares knowledge and experience in the pursuit of team goals. Support to develop customer account plans for all assigned customers by identifying the relevant customer needs, prioritizing initiatives and company resources to meet customers’ needs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Monitor the progress of projects, deliveries, or accounts closely with customers and contractors, resolving problems, responding to queries (technical and commercial) as well as inspecting progress to ensure project completion on the agreed time and to obtain optimum performance. Promote products, services, and solutions to owners and consultants through regular visits, product presentations, and follow-ups, and respond to inquiries to recommend and ensure the company product is specified for the projects, thus creating sales opportunities for the company. Follow-up on projects within allocated geographical territories and concept markets by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure the company's products are used to achieve the sales budget. Prepares and delivers presentations and proposals to win new business and increase sales turnover and profitability with existing customers. Assists with securing orders for larger projects in conjunction with others as appropriate. Salary R30,000 - R45,000 in line with experience, market value and qualifications There will be frequent travel expected as the territory covers from the Garden Route to East London (applicant must be based in PE)
