Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Controller to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining inventory levels, and meeting both customer and company expectations. Responsibilities: Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize manufacturing efficiency. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and resources. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they are kept within optimal ranges. Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and avoid stockouts. Quality Control: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all products meet the required standards and specifications. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Process Improvement: Continuously analyze production processes for efficiency improvements. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivity. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Team Management: Supervise and motivate a team of production staff. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, inventory levels, and process improvements to senior management. Key Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices. Familiarity with quality control standards and compliance regulations in the meat processing industry. Proficient in using production planning and inventory management software. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production control or planning role, preferably in the meat processing or related industry. Demonstrated experience in inventory management, production scheduling, and process improvement. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in the food production industry. Apply Now
