We are currently recruiting for a Production Foreman to join our dynamic team, based in Brits (North West). The duties for the position are as follows: Meet production targets, reduce costs & manage performance of direct production staff. Process monitoring, control, optimisation and manage process recipe. Effective supervision of subordinates (Attendance & Wellness). Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and ensure compliance. Will hold 2.9.2 appointment. Ensure adherence to Process standards and Procedures. Coordinate and monitor equipment availability and ensure continuous effective communication with relevant stakeholders to minimise production delays. Identify key performance shortfalls, gaps, and critical improvement areas. Coordinate training and development of team members. Additional information about the vacancy: Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements. Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to various stakeholders. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. High aptitude toward analytical tasks. Display a high level of strategic thinking, planning and problem-solving skills. Grade 12. Diploma or Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering. 5-7years related experience in a Metallurgical Environment of which at least 3 years must have been at a leadership role. Valid driver's license. Own transport to attend to call outs. Medical requirements: Good general health AND requires a certificate of fitness (red ticket). Market Related
