We are currently recruiting for a Trackless Fitter (Underground) to join our dynamic team, based in Brits (North West). Ensure that a good standard of safety awareness is maintained. Ensure that section personnel comply with the required Health and Safety and Environmental standards. Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintenance. Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done. Maintenance on all machinery underground. Ensure that condition monitoring of equipment, scheduled and planned maintenance are conducted effectively. Timely response to breakdown management, conduct appropriate root cause analysis and diagnosis. Conduct expansions and construction of new equipment or installations as per works order. Identify spares requirements. Must be able to work overtime when required Grade 12 and/or N4 (NQF Lev 5). Certificated Fitter or Diesel Mechanic Trade Test. 5 - 10 years underground experience on trackless machinery. Must have own transport and a valid SA driver's license. Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket). Characteristics or skills that is required: Sound planning (time management), and organisational abilities. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize. Good customer and interpersonal skills. Ability to function on your own and within a team. Independent, self-motivated, proactive thinking. Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal) and one other official language. Market Related
