Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure that a good standard of safety awareness is maintained.
Ensure that section personnel comply with the required Health and Safety and Environmental standards.
Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintenance.
Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done.
Maintenance on all machinery underground.
Ensure that condition monitoring of equipment, scheduled and planned maintenance are conducted effectively.
Timely response to breakdown management, conduct appropriate root cause analysis and diagnosis.
Conduct expansions and construction of new equipment or installations as per works order.
Identify spares requirements.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
