Reference: JHB004702-Dom-1A well-established company located in Industria West is looking for a Production Manager to join their team Minimum Education: Matric / Tertiary education related to production management would be advantageousMinimum Experience: 5 years’ experienceIndustry Specific: General packaging - corrugated boxes, cardboard boxes, etc.Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited to the following: Manage and prioritize the production of high quality packaging consistently through improvement and innovation. Ensure delivery of sustainable cost effective, fit for purpose, packaging Improve speed of service delivery avoiding production errors or loss. Ensure production lines run smoothly with minimum downtime. Ensure client specifications are met in all aspects related to quantities, dimensions, and delivery Ensuring that the manufacturing schedules are met. Day to day supervision of factory staff and conducting periodical performance reviews. Communicating with management regarding staff related issues and resolving grievances. Identifying abuse of sick leave and absenteeism and escalating disciplinary measures to management Identifying poor performance and implementing procedures to increase employee productivity. R 35 000 - R 40 000 - Monthly
