Reference: JHB007439-JO-1 1 year fixed term contract immediately available for a qualified Production Process Controller to be based in Sasolburg at a Production Facility. The purpose of the role is to support the production of catalyst according to customer specifications within the shortest time at lowest cost operating the plant and equipment according to SOP's and work instructions. A completed National Diploma in Process or Chemical Engineering is essential, coupled with 2-3 years experience in a production environment, preferably within the petrochemical industry . Successful incumbent must reside in or around the Sasolburg area . KPI's include: operate plant machinery and equipment in areas of competency in accordance with work instructions; operate the plant on a shift basis in co-ordination with maintenance, EHSA and quality; perform routine plant inspections, reporting deviations and taking corrective steps to resolve issues; monitor and record process parameters and reporting abnormal operating conditions; support the Shift Supervisors to ensure the plant has adequate resources to operate safely; ESHA : follow production procedures and work instructions in compliance with the company's EHSA procedures; wearing of correct PPE in accordance with site operating and ESHA policies; ensure compliance to ESHA standards and adherence to 5S and housekeeping systems.
