We are looking for a P r oduction Tec hnician to join the team. Testing Develop test procedures for production department Test Company instruments and sub-assemblies Analyse performance of products, then making suitable recommendations Diagnose and resolve problems with products, methods, and equipment Fault-finding, repair and expedite of instruments up to PCB level Calibration of company's instruments and sub-assemblies Quality a ssurance and factory release checks are conducted on instruments Admin Report writing on fault analysis Develop and update documentation Log maintenance and repair of instruments on company project management tool Client interaction Client liaison regarding workshop repairs Technical support on instruments towards clients General Maintenance on Production equipment Inspect machinery and report any faults to management and Production colleagues A ssist engineers in developing, building, or testing new products, processes, or procedures Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance Clean production equipment and work areas Continuous professional development Stay up to date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures Share knowledge with rest of Production staff Education National Diploma in Electrical Engineering 2 years in a production environment MS Office Read and understand electronics schematics Fault-finding up to component level A sound understanding of how electrical subcomponents interface Competencies Attention to detail Ability to provide training A positive attitude Willingness to work overtime when required Hard-working Ability to work independently to a production schedule Willingness to learn Ability to do repetitive work Good work ethic Ability to multitask Skills Problem-solving Good powers of observation Analytical thinking Communication (excellent written and verbal) Time management Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly Ability to read and carefully follow instructions Mechanical skills Mathematical skills Good soldering skills
