Project Account Manager - Humansdorp
Requirements:
Degree in Advertising, Business/Management, Communications, Creative Writing, Design, English, Marketing or Public Relations can be beneficial.
Project Management certification.
5 Years' experience in a similar role.
Agency experience is crucial.
Excellent organisational and project management skills, able to work with project management tools.
A genuine interest, firm understanding and experience in content creation.
Attention to detail and accuracy and deadline driven.
Excellent management, interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
Ability to identify risks and problems, and to handle it effectively and efficiently.
Positive attitude, friendly and approachable.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to be thorough and meticulous with every task.
The ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
The ability to participate in teamwork and bring value to the team.
Effective problem solving.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
General:
Mastering tools like Microsoft 365, Planner, Toggl & Kontentino to complete tasks.
Relevant industry knowledge.
Expert level knowledge of each allocated brand, including positioning & audiences.
Send weekly reports to line manager.
Adhere to brand's identity and guidelines.
A genuine interest in keeping up with trending content, platforms and emerging technologies.
Effective time and budget management.
Accurate back up filing as per systems.
Account Management:
Be proactive in identifying ways that we can assist the client, and in so doing increase sales.
Identify prospective clients and make pitches along with other agency staff, with the aim of securing new business for the agency.
Follow a standard process as defined by the agency.
Manage the projects and campaigns allocated to you by client or management effectively and successfully.
Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track progress of the projects and campaigns.
Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time.
Implement or delegate any necessary changes throughout the process.
Check that all content has been checked - designers and writers are to send the content for checking before assigning to you for client approval.
Get approval from client before using / scheduling / allocating content for printing or use online.
Make sure (check for yourself) that client changes have been implemented before sending it to client.
Do research as needed by client or management.
Create proposals for clients.
Work out quotations, create invoices, handle supplier quotes & invoices following a standard process as defined by the agency.
Delegating or doing any social media management tasks like keeping cover images, link tree links and bios up to date.
Collaboration:
Meet with applicable line managers if performance issues arise with creative team.
Collaborate clearly with the team to get all content out on time and up to client expectations.
Communicate with line manager about progress of projects and any issues that might arise.
Liaise with client regarding approval of content.
