International engineering company in Cape Town (Western Cape) requires Supply Chain Project Engineer / Consultant with Matric / Grade 12, National Diploma / BTech / Degree: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering plus Supply Chain Management qualification and at least 5years relevant project and supply chain management experience. Person must also have previous Asset Management, Spares Management, Spare Parts Availability, Procurement, Data Analyses and Warehousing experience (essential). Previous CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) - PRAGMA Onkey / SAP / MP2 / JDEdwards experience essential. Person will be required to collaborate with national and international clients to minimise their asset and machine downtime, ensure spare parts availability, ensure service enhancement and minimise operational cost in the service and maintenance environment (essential) - (FMCG / manufacturing / mining / other sectors). Person will be required to travel nationally and internationally to do site visits, audits on assets and to do presentations on asset management. Person must have Matric / Grade 12, National Diploma / BTech / Degree: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree and at least 5 years experience in Project Management / Supply Chain Management / Spare Parts Management (essential). Person must be excellent planner, go-getter who takes initiative with excellent communication skills. Excellent inventory and supply chain planning experience essential.
