We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Solar Project Engineer in the solar energy industry. Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Project Engineer who is interested in joining an expanding company in the solar industry that specializes in the Commercial and Industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing solar energy projects from design to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. This individual will have a strong background in electrical engineering, in the field of solar energy. Lead multiple company projects. Organise the project team and delegate team members to project tasks. Manage project deliverables, ensure that projects are delivered on time, set up regular meetings with clients and with direct manager and report back on project performance. Develop analytical tools and reports to manage and improve project performance. Maintain and develop internal relationships with all relevant project stakeholders. Design, and project manage solar systems in the commercial and industrial sectors. Develop standard operating procedures and safety standards for solar installation work. Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning and performance monitoring. Monitor completed projects energy outputs to agreements. BSc/BEng: Electrical Engineering (MEng beneficial). Driver's license; own vehicle; willingness to travel. EPC; IPP; solar power industry experience highly beneficial. Good management skill; ability to multi - task; and strong communication skills. Proficient in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, PVSol, ProfiCAD software. Preference will be given to candidates who are professionally registered with ECSA. Market Related
