One-year contract with potential for permanence We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our client, a leading player in the industry. The ideal candidate will preferably have a background in electrical engineering, though those with a mechanical engineering background will also be considered. This role involves managing complex projects, coordinating with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring successful project completion. Requirements: Recognized qualification in Project Management. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager. In-depth understanding of current project management methodologies. Technical knowledge to create accurate project plans in multi-disciplinary environments. Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks. Proficient in complex problem-solving and multitasking. Familiarity with tools and metrics for evaluating project performance. Strong conflict resolution and tension mitigation skills. Job Experience & Skills Required: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and agree on project scope. Resolve misunderstandings or disagreements regarding project scope. Ensure all portfolio resources understand the project scope and its impact on other projects. Identify and schedule all tasks required to fulfill the project scope. Create a detailed, end-to-end project schedule, involving stakeholders to ensure validity and discuss risks. Plan projects in detail, integrating all activities and identifying dependencies, critical paths, and key milestones. Communicate effectively to obtain portfolio approval of the project plan, detailing implications on revenue, delivery dates, resources, and customer deliverables. Identify and justify resourcing needs according to the project plan. Manage third-party suppliers effectively. Assign tasks, set expectations, and provide guidance to team members. Establish and manage effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and outcomes. Monitor project deliverables to ensure quality and objective fulfillment. Oversee site integration activities, including quote generation, meeting scheduling, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and handover.
