JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS Project Management: Plan and oversee landscape installation projects & manage performance productivity for budget & deadlines achievement Contracts: Negotiate and manage contracts within specified agreement terms Relationships: Manage productive relationships with professional landscape Architects & Designers, Contractors, Suppliers, Service providers and Customers Quality: Meet Customer expectations & monitor work quality for process and behavioural standards achievement Upsell: Identify & negotiate upselling opportunities that enable sales and profit target achievements Site Work: Ensure cost effective rostering & travel for site supervisors & labour & manage efficient rollout of installations Services: Coordinate outside services including, suppliers, sub-contractors, service providers, consultants as necessary Site Inspections: Inspect work-in-progress to identify & resolve issues Industrial Relations: Attend Discipline; Grievances; Appraisals & Counselling services Recruitment: Participate in interview, selection, hiring, evaluation, training and up-skilling of staff Motivation: Assist in motivating performance achievements Safety & Security : Oversee Incident recording & reporting for resolution & ensure health & safety procedures are complied with MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: TERTIARY QUALIFICATIONS A recognised Project Manager qualification aligned with Civil Construction, Building, Property development or Agricultural industries WORK BASED EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in the field of construction management Budgeting and contract administration experience Well-versed in commercial contract administration (JBCC, GCC or NEC) Understanding how to set and deliver Quality Customer Services and manage Client expectations and relationships High levels of confidence and the ability to represent the business interests at professional and senior management levels I.T. AND COMPUTER LITERACY NON-NEGOTIABLE Microsoft Office suite Word (proficient) Excel (proficient) Microsoft Projects NEGOTIABLE AND TO YOUR ADVANTAGE Pastel CCS -Candy / Buildsmart SACLAP registered as a candidate or professional landscaper OTHER REQUIREMENTS RSA citizen or valid South African work permit/Visa Valid Code B driver's license with no endorsements CHARACTER SKILLS AND BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCY Efficient and organized Methodical/analytical thinker with an ability to follow systems Deadline driven Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks Ability to operate in a fast-paced and stressful environment whilst remaining approachable and polite Confident Detail orientated Reliable and trustworthy Forward thinker Disciplined Good communication skills Practically minded REMUNERATION PACKAGE Salary: R360k – R420k CTC pa Company vehicle provided with private mileage limited to travel to / from home.
