Job Description:
The Project Planner will be responsible for planning large Solar PV projects. The role involves overseeing project budgets and resources to ensure successful project completion. The Project Planner will utilise tools such as MS Project to create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Job Duties:- Create and maintain project schedules
- Oversee project budgets and resources
- Track project progress and milestones
- Identify and address potential project risks
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Degree or Diploma in Project Management/Construction Management/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in planning large Solar PV projects
- Experience in overseeing project budgets and resources
- Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management tools
- Strong understanding of Solar PV projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working on renewable energy projects
The Project Planner will work full-time on a contract basis in Northern Cape, Siyanda District, Upington. The role may involve occasional travel to project sites and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
