Our client has a big solar/substation project in Upington and is looking for a Camp Manager, to start in June 2024.

Job Title: Camp Manager

Location: Upington, South Africa

Salary: Market related

Closing date: End April 2024

Employment Type: Contract work

Responsibilities:

Oversee camp operations including accommodation, catering, and security.
Manage staff, ensuring training, scheduling, and performance.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Control budget, procure supplies, and manage resources.
Maintain client relations and communication.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field (preferred) - Engineers degree is beneficial.
8+ years' Experience in camp management, preferably in remote settings.
Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing environments.
