Are you a talented lawyer with a knack for commercial negotiations? Our client has a great opportunity for an Admitted Attorney with lots of commercial legal experience to become a Property Legal Advisor. In this role, you'll use your legal skills in the exciting retail sector, ensuring the company's property deals are as polished as their fashion lines. Based at the lively head office in beautiful Cape Town, you'll be in the thick of things, shaping the company's future one lease agreement at a time. Responsibilities: Skillfully negotiate the details of complex commercial lease agreements in the retail sector. Draft and refine lease agreements and other legal documents with precision. Review existing agreements thoroughly, ensuring they are perfect. Build and maintain strategic relationships with the properties team, becoming their trusted legal advisor. Requirements: An LLB degree. Admitted Attorney/Legal Practitioner in good standing. At least 5 years of practical legal experience, preferably in retail, property development, or property management, focusing on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. A portfolio demonstrating excellent legal drafting skills. Proficiency in modern computing, comfortable with legal databases and Microsoft Office.
