Our client, a managed care organisation based in Pretoria is looking for a Clinical Quality Assurance Coach. Position: Clinical Quality Assurance Coach Reporting to: Team Leader: Pre-Authorisations Location: Head Office, Pretoria Contract Type: Permanent (Full time) JOB PURPOSE: The Quality Assurance Coach is responsible for ensuring that the team maintains high standards of clinical quality and compliance. This role involves monitoring, evaluating, and coaching staff to enhance their performance, improve accuracy, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations. The coach will work closely with team members to identify areas of improvement and develop training programs that promote best practices in pre-authorisation processes. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Quality Assurance and Monitoring: Conduct regular audits of pre-authorisation cases to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and policies. Monitor calls and interactions to assess the quality and accuracy of information provided by staff. Identify trends and patterns in errors or non-compliance and develop strategies to address them. Coaching and Training: Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to staff to enhance their clinical knowledge and skills. Develop and deliver training programs focused on improving clinical quality and adherence to guidelines. Offer continuous feedback and support to staff to promote professional growth and development . Collaborate with management to set performance goals and benchmarks for the department. Implement and track performance improvement plans for individuals and teams. Use data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of coaching and training initiatives. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a quality assurance or coaching role within the healthcare industry. Market related CTC package, based on experience, that includes medical scheme and provident fund (The structure of the package will be discussed at interview level based on the candidates' qualifications and years of experience).
