Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry
Requirements
2 to 4 Years experience in laboratory environment
Biochemistry practical experience in lab environment
Product and product application knowledge
Follow Lab protocol/policies/procedures

Duties
Assist Quality Control/Assurance manager to ensure quality control/assurance policies and procedures are adhered to
Ensure QC/QA responsibilities as below are done on daily basis.
Daily routine testing and verification that products are in specification; make necessary adjustments to bring batch into acceptable specification limits
Pre-formulating of batch before production batches are manufactured.
Manages the shipment and tracking (communicate with clients) of pre-ship samples including maintaining progress and updates on the PSS Approval Spreadsheet.
Maintains control of samples in the QC lab that are representative of approved batches.
Analysis, testing and final approval of all external raw material on QA32.
Assist in opening and investigating of internal and external NCRs.
Assist with writing or revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lab testing procedures.
Maintain and requisition supplies needed for timely completion of tests.
Maintain and use safety equipment assigned to department
Maintenance of instruments, including arranging contracts with instrument service providers
Calibrate analytical equipment using registered standards.
Member of Food Safety Team and Halaal Team.
Assume Management of day-to-day operations of QC lab in the absence of the Manager.
Maintaining basic good laboratory (GLP) skills and good housekeeping.
Air plates, swabbing and water sampling for external Microbial tests.
Test raw material COAs against specifications and report on those received.
Daily Inspection of warehouse and factory. Ensure to record and report Nonconformances
Monthly verification of supplier files and in-house procedures. (Obtaining and updating documentation).
