CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: The Plant Quality Control Operations Manager leads and manages the Quality Control Operations and Inspection personnel, interfaces with FDA and other government officials during plant audits as necessary and assists during customer and regulatory agency audits of the facility. This role collaborates with other manufacturing, technical, and functional disciplines within the plant to solve problems in the manufacturing process. This role also manages the finished product release process as well as the review and approval of applicable Standard Operating Procedures for the Quality Control Operations function. In this role, you will: Manage and lead a team of QC Manufacturing Operations personnel. Coordinate and communicate with appropriate personnel regarding sampling, manufacturing, and packaging room inspection, in-process inspection and finished product release as per manufacturing and packaging schedule. Coordinate and communicate with QC Lab and QA departments as required to maintain departmental operations. Manage the finished product release process and team. Interface with FDA and other government officials during plant audits as necessary and assists during customer and regulatory agency audits of the facility. Review and approve packaging instructions, QC Standard Operation Procedures, and manufacturing & packaging batch records. Ensure that personnel are trained in all proper procedures required for the performance of the specific job duties assigned. Supervise handling of rejected materials concerning products manufactured or packaged by the Company and ensure that all rejected product is properly identified, logged, and stored in designated areas. LI-Onsite What we look for: Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related technical field 5 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment, preferable foods, dietary supplements, or pharmaceutical. 3 years of management experience. Experience with FDA and Quality Management Systems Strong oral and written communication skills, strong people skills and superior organizational abilities. Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel and Outlook. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area. -Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900 -Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400 -Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900 All ranges are subject to change in the future.
