The main purpose is to conduct quality and safety inspection on products in a manufacturing plant as per the internal procedures and safety regulations; and ensure that the final product will not cause harm to the consumer when it is prepared and/or eaten according to its intended use. andidate Requirements Conduct quality and safety inspections on all stages of the manufacturing process Verify manufacturing processes according to standard operating procedures Ensure cleanliness of the plant and equipment , and p ersonal hygiene of personnel before commencement of production. Consider available storage capacity for the planned production; Inspect equipment to ensure it is in a good state Observe production and warehouse daily operation s for non-compliances Controlling the production line speed; Sampling of products and facilities; Preparing and submitting official reports and statistics that are needed on the system Required Skills Quality Control Food Safety Educational Qualifications: Qualification in Environmental Health or Food Science ISO 22000 or HACCP certificate Certificate in Food handling, or food hygiene and GMP . Knowledge and Experience: 2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience in a food manufacturing industry ISO 22000, HACCP and Food Stuffs Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act No. 54 of 1972 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Key Competencies : Attention to detail; Problem solving; Organizational skills; Communication and Interpersonal skills; Good written & verbal communication skills R 8 000 to R 10 000 CTC Including Medical Aid and Provident Fund
