Responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance of all machinery and equipment within the plant. This includes ensuring the reliability and efficiency of both old and new machines, implementing best practices, and leading a team of maintenance technicians . Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and safely with minimal downtime. - Plan and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. - Lead, mentor, and train a team of electrical maintenance technicians, ensuring that they met their objectives and perform according to standard. - Ensure compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards and enforce safety protocols and procedures. - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections. - Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance. - Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes. - Prepare and manage the maintenance budget; monitor expenses and optimize cost-efficiency. - Source and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors. Required Skills Maintenance Root Cause Analysis Electrician Maintenance Manager Electrical Repairs Educational Qualifications: Electrical or equivalent engineering qualification Knowledge a nd Experience: - W ork experience of plant maintenance or technical management in the food manufacturing industry. - Ability to apply Root Cause Failure Analysis - 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role - Knowledge of plant and food safety requirements - Good knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery used in the plant ff - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, presentation Outlook).
