Purpose of the role: In the electrical technician role, you will be responsible for creating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment. A critical element in this role is calibrating instruments to adapt to the specific needs of a client or job. To carry out service/ repair and maintenance promptly and professionally on rental machines. • Provide preventive and corrective mechanical and electrical servicing • Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults • To maintain inventory and test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition • Compiling and maintaining records of machine history • Responsible for submitting accurate maintenance reports, job cards, timesheets, and other necessary paperwork • Ensuring that electrical equipment and machinery, repair schedules are met according to the scheduled time allocated • Immediate diagnosis of the breakdown problem and identify a solution to the problem (Pre-requisite) • Ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment is in good working order • Responsible for the sourcing of quality and reasonably priced spares • To always apply good standards of engineering practice. • All maintenance and repairs are to be in line with the company standards • Knowledge of quality management to be implemented • To effectively promote the company image by professionally always representing the company while performing all assigned tasks. • To be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations in the workshop • Identifying and responding to safety hazards • Compliance with the company policies and procedures • You also agree to carry out such other reasonable duties that may be necessary for you to perform the work efficiently, as assigned by management from time to time. Matric/ Grade 12 and Associate degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred • At least 5 years as an Industrial electrician Experience as a generator mechanic must have. • Highly observant and analytical • Detail-oriented • Proficient with hand tools • Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical skills • Driver's License • Willingness to work shifts • Travelling 100% Market Related Company Car Company Cellphone Travel Allowance Provident Fund & Medical Aid Apply Now
