Location: Durban North For the past ninety years, our client has been a world leader in providing innovative and permanent corrosion prevention solutions over hand tool cleaned steel surfaces, whilst reducing applied coating costs and meeting the most stringent health & safety requirements. They are looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their growing team. Core function: Responsible for all aspects of reception and internal sales - this includes full reception duties together with front desk tasks, direct counter sales and email orders, plus ancillary duties linked to the branch requirements Summary deliverables: Reception duties including answering and directing calls, control of stationery and ad-hoc duties linked to the front desk. Prompt professional client interactions are required, fostering relationships between the business and the customer (both internal and external). Efficient, effective, complete and accurate processing of the order-to-pay documents are a necessity. Building relationships with colleagues across the branches is needed to be able to work effectively. The ability to maintain complete and tidy records is necessary for verification and query purposes. Understanding the products over a short period of time is needed to be able to ensure correct invoicing and query resolution. Experience: 3 Years work experience in similar role in Reception and in dealing with products and direct customer interface. Inherent requirements: Matric (Grade 12) with maths Fluent in Afrikaans (read/ write/ speak) and English Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Prior knowledge of internal sales desk and Reception requirements Reasons for inherent requirements: The incumbent will be required to effectively communicate with customers through verbal and written channels, including email Proficiency in Afrikaans and Microsoft Office is essential for this role The ability to accurately calculate pricing is necessary for invoicing Thus, strong mathematical skills are required for invoicing and pricing queries Previous experience working in both Reception and an internal sales desk is necessary, as the role involves frequent interaction with customers/colleagues in person, over the phone, and via email Apply Now
