Our client in the Medical Devices industry is currently looking for a Research Audiologist , in Pretoria, Gauteng. Audiological research: design and implementation. Report writing and documentation. Fitment of hearing aids. Fine-tuning of hearing aid settings. Customer relations and relationship management. Working in a clinical environment and interacting with both clinical and non-clinical and academic colleagues. The development of research protocols and the management and organization of data (user studies) User and Clinical Studies: 60%. Conducting user and usability engineering studies, RETSPL studies, and clinical validation studies. Managing all aspects of the research study. Develop research strategies to understand user needs and continually test and improve the service. Designing, executing, and analysing surveys. Documenting and communicating user research findings. Preparing reports and documentation for regulatory submissions. Turning user research findings into valuable product and service features. Planning, conducting, and writing up of claims studies. Documentation: 25%. Assisting the Legal & Regulatory team with required documentation. Investigating clinical & regulatory requirements and providing feedback. Literature Reviews: 5%. Staying updated with new research and market research. Documenting and updating relevant literature. Adherence to QMS guidelines: 10%. Keeping all relevant supporting documents and processes relevant. M. Communication Pathology in Audiology (or studying towards) 2 years of industry experience. R350 000 – R450 000 per annum (including 13th cheque, pension and risk-benefit contribution) Hybrid after probation.
