We are currently recruiting for a Rigger Ropesman to join our dynamic team, based in Brits (North West). Ensure that good standard of safety awareness is maintained. Ensure that section personnel comply with the requires Health and Safety and Environmental standards. Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintained. Examines objects to be moved, estimate their size, shape, and weight, and decide on the type of equipment necessary. Erects a temporary jib or derrick if required, and installs cables, pulleys, and other tackle. Chooses or makes slinging equipment and attach it to the load. Erects cranes and mobile crane booms, increases, or lowers the height of tower cranes by bolting component parts in place and rigging cables. Splices ropes and cables to make slings and tackle. Erects structural steel for buildings or plants under construction. Inspects, maintains, and repairs equipment. Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done. Rigging Maintenance on all machinery. Must be able to work overtime when required. Grade 12. Rigger Ropesman Trade Certificate. 55 Ton crane certificate. Resin capping certificate. 2-3 years related experience as a Rigger in a mining environment. Must have their own transport and a valid driver's license.
