Risk Manager - Cape Town City Centre
Join our client, within the insurance industry, as their Risk Manager. This role reports into the COO of the business, and seeking an energetic, and self motivated individual. The ideal individual will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the financial services sector. The ideal individual will have experience with Solvency and liquidity management, Commission calculations (daily and monthly - determination, review and submission), as well as quarterly and annual returns.
Responsibilities:
- Risk Identification & Management
- Risk Assessment, mitigation and control
- Risk Reporting, utilize risk management tools and technologies to enhance analysis and reporting
- Solvency and liquidity management
- Commission calculations (daily and monthly - determination, review and submission)
- Quarterly and annual returns (including submission)
- Portfolio/experience analysis (the analysis of the company's insurance portfolio to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Risk Management within the Financial Services industry
- High analytical skills to critically analyse and examine documents and conduct investigations
