A dynamic manufacturer based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Safety Officer with 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar environment Minimum Requirements Matric SAMTRAC / Relevant Safety Related tertiary qualification (highly advantageous) 3-5 Years' experience working as a Safety Officer Computer literacy (Excellent) Valid driver's license and own transport Safeguarding lives, preventing accidents and fostering a secure work environment Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and taking measures to mitigate them Addressing unsafe behaviours and hazardous conditions promptly Promoting safety awareness through effective communication Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and formulating policies Investigating accidents and preventing their recurrence Conducting Toolbox Meetings and regularly discussing safety practices with employees Coordination of Hazardous Waste Management and handling hazardous waste safely Desired Skills: Safety Compliance • Hazard Identification Risk Mitigation Employer & Job Benefits: Medical Aid & Pension Fund
