Assist the Senior BDM to actively develop and establish relationships with new printer distributors / resellers/ retailers channels in South Africa to achieve sales targets. Maintain good relationships with the existing channels, including but not limited to visit resellers regularly, monitor storefront sales of key retailers, etc. Support the implementation of marketing promotion plans and strategies to enhance company branding. Conduct marketing analysis and collect data to understand the local customers' requirements and competitors' changing strategies. Prompt reporting and feedback to the company. Minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience in Sales & Business Development, within an international manufacturing environment, preferably in plastic recycling, plastic industry, or food packaging. (Note that only Manufacturing experience will be considered) An established network within the Manufacturing industry & deep knowledge of processes is critical. Leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory, as this role does not have direct reports. Educational background in a technical or commercial field, with a focus on sales (Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent). Proven track record in B2B sales within the recycling or related industries, including experience in setting up new operations or plants and expanding market presence. Strong relationship-building skills with a history of establishing profitable partnerships. Excellent customer service orientation with a commitment to professionalism and quality. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and proactively solve challenges. Willingness to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment.
