About our Client: A Hotel School that has embraced the art of hospitality, offering national and international qualifications to students and industry professionals Key Responsibilities: Industry Knowledge and Product Expertise -Possess in-depth knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry (non-negotiable). -Acquire and maintain excellent knowledge of our products for face-to-face presentations, proposals, and costings for customers (training provided). Strategy Development and Implementation -Develop comprehensive marketing and sales strategies for our school. -Conduct thorough market research on competitors. -Drive sales by designing and implementing targeted marketing strategies. Client Relationship Management -Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients to market and sell blended learning training courses for employed staff. -Initiate and coordinate marketing events on campus to stimulate sales of our events and training programmes. Sales Performance and Reporting -Track sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas and increases revenue by achieving/exceeding sales targets. -Create and present detailed sales performance and budget reports. Coordination and Communication -Coordinate with media representatives, sponsors, digital marketing agency, and in-house social media coordinator. Success Factors: -Strong knowledge of modern marketing techniques to create strategies that align with contemporary consumer trends. -A passion for sales and a deep understanding of commercial trends and marketing strategies. -Excellent project management skills and the ability to work well under pressure, maintaining punctuality and meeting deadlines. -A solid client base and the ability to build and nurture relationships effectively. Required Skills and Attributes: -High-level communication and networking skills. -Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work as a team player and independently when required. -Mature, well-groomed, and balanced home life. -Organized administrator with a keen attention to detail. Team Dynamics: -The role will work both as part of a team and independently. -Collaborate closely with the Managing Director, the marketing team responsible for full-time students, administrative staff handling blended learning programmes, and event coordinators. Stakeholder Engagement: -Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate clients, media representatives, sponsors, digital marketing agency, and in-house social media coordinator. Work Environment Expectations: -Complete product knowledge training within one month. -Achieve a high number of direct, telephone, and social media contacts per month. -Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets. -Respond to enquiries within 24 hours. -Willingness to travel within South Africa and, if needed, neighboring countries.
