Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Sales Channel administrator (Paid Media) to join their team based in Midrand. To liaise with Category Buyers and Suppliers to effectively plan, coordinate and execute weekly online promotions and ensure advertising is secured for both print and digital publications and all deadlines are adhered to. Minimum Requirements Essential: Grade 12 - Matric or Senior Certificate 1 - 2 years working experience in Advertising or Promotions Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing Assist with the planning of weekly online promotions and to determine the type of promotional offers that would be most effective in line with specific promotional themes and trends. Source deep discounted deals from suppliers and buyers to feature in the weekly online promotions in line with the promotional themes and ensure all deadlines are adhered to. Send out marketing communication to communicate promotions to all stakeholders. Compile a deal sheet and ensure all offers are approved by Category and once finalized send to all relevant departments to ensure promotions are successfully executed. Ensure that the booking forms are complete and accurate at all times. Ensure all products on promotion are listed online with images and sufficient stock levels. Track sales results and effectiveness of promotional offers in the different categories. Send post promotion sales reports to buyers and suppliers. Responsible to send sales to Accounts to bill suppliers. Ensure that all relevant documents are saved on the relevant share drives Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and internal departments. Source advertising for both print and digital publications in line with specific content planned, promotions, product launches, awareness and brand building initiatives. Effectively communicate with suppliers, buyers and co-departments regarding relevant marketing / advertising opportunities. Ensure deadlines, budgets and targets are adhered to. Compile booking forms; keep booking schedules updated and accurate at all times and liaise with suppliers and ad agencies to ensure all marketing material is submitted on time. Responsible to proof-read advertising material and ensure the approval processes are adhered to and any amendments on artwork are implemented. Ensure that all relevant documents are saved on the relevant share drives. Ensure products advertised on the digital publications are listed online. Create trackable UTM links for all product mentions and artwork. Send post campaign reports on the results of the advertising activities to advertisers. Ensure billings are done on marketing by vendor and all other advertising activities. Ensure implementation of best practice guidelines and follow company processes. Compile any ad-hoc reports for management when required. Keep abreast of industry trends to contribute towards the quantitative and qualitative research and identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and grow market share on digital and print platforms. Analyse all digital activities and develop recommendations based upon the performance results and effectiveness in meeting business objectives. Utilise various Web analytic tools to measure the performance of campaigns. Serve as the key liaison between the marketing department and online department, master data, buyers, suppliers and other internal departments. Build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders. Liaise with stakeholders responsible for inbound workflow on new and upcoming work to effectively plan this into the current schedule. Effectively communicate regarding marketing campaigns, requirements and deadlines to internal and external stakeholders and team members. Provide proof of execution on launch of campaigns. Provide full campaign report to suppliers at end of campaign. Monitor results of digital marketing campaigns and report any successes or shortcomings to the manager. Ensure that daily tracking document and all booking and finance schedules are updated daily. Competencies: Essential: Able to conduct multiple complex tasks simultaneously and be highly productive without needing much supervision. High attention to detail, analytical and effective in time management and project coordination. Effectively communicate and interact with other team members. Diligent, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Ability to build and maintain good relationships with staff and suppliers. Effectively plan and organize daily, monthly and annual activities. Problem solving and initiate action. Adaptable. Effectively accomplish tasks by considering all aspects involved and adhering to all processes. Read, write and speak fluently in English. Be able to communicate accurately both verbal and written with all stakeholders. Understanding tools, skills and concepts of marketing acumen.
