Halfway Vehicle Hire, Cape Town based at the airport has an exciting vacancy for a Sales Consultant. Responsible to grow new, existing, and dormant business. Key-Stakeholder Engagements: Conduct key-stakeholder engagements (external stakeholders) Drive customer experience (marketing, sales, and after-sales) Strategy: Implement the sales strategy Provide feedback to ensure competitive advantage in terms of market segments / customer base / customer needs / customer trends Internal Business: Attend to customer complaints, by receiving, responding, internally referring and follow-ups Effective self-management Implement planned events for the year Maintain an effective CRM system Maintain customer pipeline for existing (potential), new and dormant clients Provide effective assistance with debtors Ensure that agreed monthly monetary sales targets are met (three strike rule) Keep and report on statistics (month to date) for CRM, Pipeline, Sales Targets Develop and maintain weekly call cycle (with current, potential and dormant split), working through the customer quarterly Ensure excellent representation of the company (by maintaining appropriate etiquette, clothing, grooming, personal hygiene, appearance, language use and customer interface) Primarily, must have the ability to enthusiastically convince people that they need our company's products/services. In other words, you must have the killer instinct required to close a sale. Minimum 3 years vehicle hire sales experience Preferably experience within the vehicle hire industry Driver's license Matric Persuasiveness The ability to write detailed yet compelling proposals and reports Analytical skills Decisiveness You need to retain good relationships with clients while meeting targets and deadlines Able to learn, understand and know all our products and services Outstanding communication skills. Personality is big in sales. You should be comfortable communicating complicated concepts in a clear and friendly manner The ability to cope with rejection and positively continue to the following potential client The capacity to work alone or as part of a team Extreme self-motivation and a competitive nature Market related.
