Requirements: Matric/Grade 12 Diploma/Degree Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Economics or Business Administration, BSC or Medical Qualification 3 – 5 years' experience in Sales Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse in Theatre (Advantageous) Active SANC Registration Valid Driver's license and own vehicle CRICE Training (Advantageous) Competency Profile: Skills: Computer proficiency Interpersonal skills Good communication Customer service skills Negotiating & listening skills Ability to problem solve Basic math skills Knowledge: Sales Product knowledge Understanding of Hospital & Theatre environment Basic business acumen Behaviour: Work independently Professional outlook an appearance Respectable behaviour Honesty & integrity The main purpose of this position: Responsible for establishing sales objectives and devising sales activities that support these objectives across all relevant business units in the clients companies To drive sales activities by developing and maintaining demand for the client's range of products and services to designated accounts, in accordance with agreed business plans Duties & Responsibilities: Sales & Marketing: Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to drive new business development, on client's products Analyse markets in order to identify new sales and business opportunities Complete minimum of 5 Client Calls per day Report on competitor behaviour, threats and opportunities for the business Implement sales strategies Plan, organise and manage all sales activities Implement sales objectives and goals Assist and support sales colleagues as well as production team whilst performing daily sales activities Participate in marketing events such as seminars, congresses and appropriate medical societies Product Knowledge: Provide customers with product and service information relating to clients single-use drapes and gowns, consumables, procedure packs, customised operation packs and re-usable solution Training: Training of both staff and clients on the products Support and co-ordinate product training programs for designated products as required Provide clinical advice to the infield sales consultants Sales Reporting: Complete Repwise Weekly sales activity planning Complete Repwise Sales Call Report after every call Supply management with reports on customer's needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services Track sales data pertaining to area and manage inconsistencies Management of Sales Stock: Continuously monitor stock levels at existing clients to ensure that correct stock levels are adhered to Assist with the identification and management of ageing stock at clients to ensure prompt return of aged packs to our production facility for reprocessing Stock-take responsibilities on site at clients as and when required
