A reputable FMCG company is currently seeking an Expat Professional to assume the pivotal role of Sales Director to sell our branded products. We are looking for an exceptionally talented, self-motivated individual with polished communication and presentation skills, coupled with a proven track record in sales leadership. Location: Mauritius , regular travel globally Key Responsibility Areas and Job Outputs To implement policies and directives to provide overall strategic direction for the company and to ensure compliance with such policies and directives. To expand the existing client base of the company and to identify and attract target clients for the company To ensure goals are set for the departments in the company and that such goals are met To ensure that the company complies with all company laws and other relevant legislation that it is obligated to comply with To monitor the financial performance of the company and to promote and maintain a culture of profitability for the company To implement policies and directives to manage risk to the company and to ensure compliance with such policies and directives To perform those duties assigned to you from time to time by the board To comply with all lawful instructions given to you from time to time by the board To devote the whole of your time and attention during normal business hours in performing your duties under this agreement and such amount of additional time as may be necessary, having regard to the exigencies of the business and the affairs of the company, to the business and affairs of the company and all aspects thereof To deliver up to the company whenever the board requires you to do so and, in any event, immediately upon termination of this agreement for any reason, all books of account, records, information, correspondence and notes concerning or containing any reference to the work or business of the company, which belongs to the company or are in the possession or under the control, directly or indirectly, of you To attend all meetings required of you by the board unless you are for good reason unable to do so and gives notice thereof to the board Generally, to show the company the utmost good faith Not to exceed or purport to exceed or purport to have the right to exceed the express limits of your authority as director or such authorities as may necessarily be implied by virtue of your capacity and functions, for the time being To procure that such up-to-date written records as the board may direct be maintained and to keep such records and all other records of the company's affairs which may be entrusted to you in a safe place, out of access to any other person save as specifically directed by the board Not to remove from the company's premises any books, records, documents or other items belonging to the company save for the bona fide purpose of fulfilling your functions and duties in terms of this agreement or with the prior written consent of the board To carry out your functions and duties for the company lawfully Not to act on behalf of the company in a manner which would bring discredit or injury to, or prejudice the goodwill of, the company To abide by the policies, rules and procedures of the company, including but not limited to the disciplinary and grievance procedures, and acknowledges that you have read and is aware of such policies, rules and procedures and that you will familiarise yourself with any revisions thereto To refrain from making or publishing false or disparaging statements, whether written or oral, express, or implied, regarding competitors of the company Manage and plan a full Marketing Strategy for our copany. Control of Full online and Digital format PR and Marketing for our company. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts at shows. Customer/Client relations to the benefit of the Company. Marketing and office administration – spreadsheets, gant charts etc. Deliver on company approved Strategies. Computer literacy in day-to-day conduct of your job. Most important TARGET ORIENTATED APROACH TO EACH AND EVERY ASSIGNMENT i.e. By whom, By when actionable Self-starter Attend trade shows and marketing/sales events. Well-spoken and presentable. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Strong time management skills and deadline orientated. General office management skills Attend registrations and sponsorships for shows. School themselves in-depth of macadamia products, their benefits, styles, and applications. Identify opportunities for market expansion and penetration in new territories. Develop and execute approved plans to enter and establish the company's presence in new international markets. Prepare and present regular sales reports – provide insight and recommendations based on sales data. Generate leads. Update and maintain customer book. Always keep updated import tariff schedules at hand. Stay updated on export challenges in different ports etc. Qualifications: Bcom Marketing/Sales Experience: Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the export industry. Experience in international export sales of food products especially macadamia based products or finished goods will be advantageous USD based, aligned with candidates experience, skills and qualifications, plus incentive based on attractive commission linked to company performance.
