Minimum requirements:

Matric and a degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
10 Years of experience in a similar position within the Engineering industry
Sales experience would be advantageous but not a disqualifying factor
Ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing, Chemical, Mining and Steel/ Aluminium
Basic computer literacy
Willingness to travel across Africa
Valid drivers license and valid passport

Key Responsibilities:

Visit clients to assist with problem solving and to identify opportunities where company products are a fit
Be actively involved in overseeing manufacturing of products in the workshop and to assist in ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained and improved
Understand and interpret mechanical drawings
Prepare reports and presentations and present them to customers
Log all opportunities and trip reports in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Visit customers locally, as well as limited travel to Mozambique and West Africa
