Sales Executive (B2B) - Refrigeration Equipment - Durban
The Sales Executive position requires sales and business to business development skills. The incumbent will need to create sales and relationships predominantly in the retail franchisee and independent retail , outlet markets. Key responsibilities: Meeting and present the product to prospective clients Identifies correct product offering and formulates proposals - large capital outlays for clients Identify and call on key markets and customers Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis Dealing with owners, buyers, engineers, store managers and regional managers of major retail chains Deals with requests for quotations and information requirements Ensures after sales service levels are well maintained Identifying short- and long-term growth opportunities Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity Achieving sales budget requirements Skills and Competencies required: Persistent and skilled at selling and negotiating Peoples person/sales orientation Entrepreneurial drive Able to sell and close the deal regarding capital goods Business development/setup experience Experience in working across functions to improve customer service Able to manage time and projects effectively Ability to think through and solve problems methodically High degree of personal integrity and professionalism Qualifications and Experience required: A university/college degree/diploma from an accredited institution preferred but not mandatory Minimum 1 – 3 years of strategic business to business sales experience in capital goods space in a sales environment is essential Previous project or account management Experience in the retail environment would be an advantage PC proficiency This position requires travel within the Durban region Must have license and own vehicle essential
