This will be a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months through the Company Specpack Field Services for the M-Kopa Project. M-Kopa is a fast growing FinTech company offering millions of underbanked customers across Africa access to life-enhancing products and services. Summary of the Role: The purpose of the job is to recruit and manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) to meet sales targets of M-KOPA products. Your role will involve detailed advanced to creat local network to allow you to deliver our sales. The majority of the time will coach and work with DSRs in the field combined with strenghthening local networks of customers, while encouraging team spirit amongst DSRs. You will also help resolve customer needs as they arise. This will be a demanding, yet personally satisfying role as you develop junior members of the team and sell a product that is upgrading people's lives. Role and Responsibilities: 1. Achieve and surpass sales targets of M-KOPA products 2. Recruit, manage and coach a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) to meet the set targets following our business goals. 3. Monito and evaluate the performance of Direct Sales Representatives to meet the performance standards. 4. Manager DSR inventory and resolve audit recommendations following M-KOPA audit resolution guidelines. 5. Develop a local netword to help grow sales volume. 6. Prepare and submit weekly activity plans and reports to Regional Sales Manager. Skills Required: 1. Sales Management: Ability to effectively manage a team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) and guide them towards meeting sales targets. 2. Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate the DSR team, fosteringf a positive team spirit and achieving collective goals. 3. Coaching and Training: Experience in coaching and training sales teams to improve their performance and enhance their selling skills. 4. Customer Service: Ability to address and resolve customer needs in a timely and satisfactory manner, ensuring a positive customer experience. 5. Networking: Proficiency in building and maintaining local networks to expand sales opportunities and increase sales volume. 6. Planning and Organisation: Advanced planning skills to create strategies and set clear objectives from the DSR team, as well as effective organisation of activities and resources. 7. Performance Evaluation: Competence in monitorin and evaluating the performance of DSR's against set standards and implementing appropriate measures to improve performance. 8. Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management practives to effectively manage DSR inventory and resolve audit recommendations following company guidelines. 9. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to prepare and submit weekly activity plans and reports to the Regional Sales Manager. Experience Required: 1. Previous experience in sales management, preferably in a field-based role, is essential. 2. Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets 3. Experience in recruiting, managing and coachinh a team of sales representatives. 4. Proven track record in building and maintaining customer networks. Education Required: Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field is preferred. R 15 000.00 per month depending on skills and experience Commission if targets are met
