Our client is looking for a sales manager to join their team in Midrand, Johannesburg. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop digital and print sales strategies Manage the digital and print sales team Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs Direct sales processes to generate revenue Present sales, expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team Generate timely sales reports Meet with clients to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them Extensive knowledge of digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, channels of distribution, technology trends, customer buy patters and budgeting REQUIREMENTS: More than 5 years' experience as Sales Manager within the Media industry (Online Publication, Newspaper, Radio or TV) A strong understanding of digital and media sales Experience with the education sector will be an added advantage Must have contacts within the private and public sector Excellent organisational and communication skills Attention to detail The ability to work in a highly pressurised environment Good interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a team Have good telephone etiquette Good time management skills Must be customer service oriented The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Own vehicle and valid driver's license
