Reference: JHB000151-TM-1 The purpose of role is to build up and manage opportunities across the full Sales lifecycle including discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiation of commercial proposals and maintaining customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise and industry knowledge will also be vital to ensure the relevance and continuous evolution of the Falcorp's portfolio of offerings and services through product and solutions research and development activities with internal SME teams, OEMs and partners. Responsibilities & Duties Establish trusted long-term advisor relationship with decision makers and buyers at all levels of a customer (C-Level to specialist). Understand the client needs. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products. solutions and services as well as compelling sales pitches. Collaborate with team members to define solutions and provide technical and commercial proposal to our clients. Build and maintain a sales pipeline that ensures the revenue and profit targets. Build and maintain relationships with clients. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor. Reach out to potential clients to inform them about our products and services. Complete all paperwork relating to a sale. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs Requirements and Skills Proven experience as a Sales or relevant role Excellent knowledge of MS Office Hands-on experience with ICT solutions and capabilities Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques Fast learner and passion for sales Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations Customer service Meeting sales goals Closing skills Prospecting skills Negotiation Self-confidence ICT technical knowledge Presentation skills Strategy development and execution Technical writing and communication Research & Development Presentation, facilitation, problem solving and negotiation Commercial proposal writing Qualifications Relevant degree/ diploma, e.g. IT, computer science, engineering, commerce (at least NQF level 6) is mandatory. Relevant post-graduate qualification will be an advantage. TOGAF, eTOM or relevant IT Certification e.g., Cloud Architect certification from major cloud providers will be an advantage.
