MPI Holdings is currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting and selling our range of auto electrical products, mining collision avoidance systems, and emergency vehicle lighting and sirens to clients in the region. Develop and implement sales strategies: Develop comprehensive sales strategies to promote MPI Holdings' products and services effectively. This includes identifying target markets, establishing sales goals, and developing action plans to achieve sales targets. Prospect and acquire new clients: Identify and prospect potential clients within the automotive, mining, and emergency services sectors. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through cold calling, networking, and relationship building. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations: Present MPI Holdings' products and services to potential clients through product demonstrations, presentations, and meetings. Highlight key features, benefits, and value propositions to generate interest and secure sales. Provide technical expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of auto electrical systems, mining collision avoidance systems, and emergency vehicle lighting and sirens to effectively address client inquiries and provide technical assistance as needed. Prepare proposals and quotes: Prepare accurate and competitive proposals, quotes, and sales contracts for clients based on their specific requirements. Ensure timely follow-up and negotiation to close sales and secure contracts. Build and maintain client relationships: Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing their needs, and exceeding their expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support. Stay updated on industry trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the automotive, mining, and emergency services sectors. Use this knowledge to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly. Collaborate with internal teams: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and technical support, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products and services to clients. Provide feedback and insights to support continuous improvement efforts. Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive, mining, or emergency services industries. Strong understanding of auto electrical systems, mining collision avoidance systems, and emergency vehicle lighting and sirens. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and close sales. Self-motivated and target-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a diverse workload. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
